Terms of Service
Last updated: February 9, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zivaro platform operated by Zivaro ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Zivaro is an AI-powered talent acquisition platform that provides:
- AI resume screening and eligibility evaluation
- AI voice interviews with scoring and transcripts
- Applicant tracking and hiring pipeline management
- Candidate self-service portals
The service is provided on a per-role pricing basis as described on our pricing page.
Accounts
Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
Account types
- Recruiter accounts — for organizations hiring candidates. Scoped to an organization with role-based access.
- Candidate accounts — for individuals applying to jobs and completing interviews.
Accounts are mutually exclusive — a user is either a recruiter or a candidate, not both.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at ashish.so@zivaro.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics (race, gender, age, disability, religion, national origin, or any other legally protected status)
- Upload malicious files, inject prompts, or attempt to manipulate AI outputs
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the platform
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
- Interfere with the operation of the service or other users' access
Candidate data and consent
For recruiters
When you upload candidate resumes or invite candidates to apply, you represent that you have a lawful basis to process their data (e.g., legitimate interest in hiring, or candidate consent). You are responsible for informing candidates that AI screening and interviews will be used in the hiring process.
For candidates
By applying to a job on Zivaro, you consent to:
- AI-powered screening of your resume against job criteria
- AI voice interviews that are recorded and transcribed
- AI-generated evaluation scores shared with the hiring organization
You may withdraw your application at any time, which will stop further processing.
AI-generated content
Zivaro uses AI to generate interview evaluations, eligibility scores, and candidate summaries. These outputs are:
- Recommendations, not decisions — final hiring decisions are made by human recruiters
- Not guaranteed to be accurate — AI can make errors; recruiters should exercise independent judgment
- Not legal advice — AI outputs should not be the sole basis for employment decisions
We continuously work to reduce bias and improve accuracy, but AI systems are inherently imperfect.
Intellectual property
Our content
The Zivaro platform, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is owned by Zivaro. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, company information). By uploading content, you grant us a license to process, store, and display it as necessary to provide the service.
Interview recordings
Interview recordings are owned by the organization that created the job posting. Candidates may request access to their own recordings.
Payment and billing
- Services are billed per role based on the selected tier (Starter, Standard, or High-Volume)
- Overage charges apply when included screening or interview quotas are exceeded
- Payment terms are net-30 for invoiced accounts
- All amounts are exclusive of applicable taxes
We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days' notice to active customers.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (infrastructure providers, network issues, force majeure).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Zivaro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We are not liable for hiring decisions made using AI-generated recommendations
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
Termination
By you
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Active subscriptions will not be refunded for the current billing period.
By us
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical. In case of termination, we will provide reasonable time to export your data.
Dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the courts in Pune, India.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
